It's a steal
I can’t remember the real name for this effect but it’s a mixture between a prediction and a gag. You attach the prop inside your jacket and arm yourself with a small, simple clipboard, a whiteboard marker and you’re ready to go. As a member of the audience or passer by what they think you paid for the jacket. You can extend this with various bits of business as you display your snazzy apparel. They eventually fix on a price. You tell them you will write down how much you did actually pay for it and you then show them. It says £0.00. They react to this and you gag that it was actually free. You then tell them that they were close when they said what they thought it cost and you reveal the security tag still on the jacket with the label showing their guess. All done easily by the gimmick. Good fun for a fun street show.
